Nassim Taleb was on CNBC recently, talking about why he owns stocks and not treasuries.
"I own stocks. Why? Because I don't trust treasury bonds..." He also owns some Euros.
I don't personally care about the guy's opinion very much. I've read his book "the black swan", he's very smart of course, but to be honest I'd prefer some other investing or trading books much better.
Now, back to the topic of owning shares. Personally, I sort of 'have' to own shares. The stock market's carnage in past three years, surely left some scars and pain. BUT I have to own shares. Reasons to come...
